What is LocoGopher?
LocoGopher is a local search site that enables people to not only find local businesses, but find out comprehensive information about those businesses. We are dedicated to providing the most useful and unbiased local search to our users.

Do I have to sign up to use the site?
Not at all. You can use the site to search the directory, read reviews, view menus and get coupons all without signing up.

Should I sign up ?
That depends on how you use the site. If you are interested in reviewing businesses and developing a good reviewer rating within your community, sign up now!

Do you filter language on the site?
Our goal is to empower local community members to review local businesses. To help promote that empowerment, we will never remove a review. However, we do filter a select few words and phrases to help make LocoGopher a better overall place for communities to connect.

Is it really free?
Yes, everything you use right now is free and will remain free. In the future, we will be releasing addtional services and custom-fit services for businesses to improve their listings.

What is the sign up process?
Step 1. Visit www.locogopher.com/merchant & Click Sign Up
Step 2. Search to see if your business already exists
Step 3. If it does, register it. If not, add it to the directory

Can I advertise?
No. Unlike most of our competitors, we do not offer any advertising or sponsored results. However, we are currently developing additional services for merchants to offer unique services in their listings.

I am an agent or affiliated with a business. Can I use LocoGopher?
Yup. Sign up and create your own listing right now!

I'm not sure if my business is listed or not. What do I need to do?
All it takes is a quick search to see if your business is already listed. If it is, register it. If you can't find it, add it.

Can non-profits get involved?
You bet! We encourage any business or organization to get listed.

Can I register my business as a PO Box?
Yes you can. But if you have a physical address, register with that instead. Since we won't be able to pinpoint your physical location, your business will be listed at the end of searches (after businesses with physical addresses). We recommend that if your business does have a physical address, register with it.
